Cybele Pascal’s new allergen free cookies

Cybele Pascal’s new allergen free cookies

I am so excited to announce Cybele Pascal’s new Free to Eat allergy friendly packaged cookies. You may remember Cybele has one of my favorite cookbook authors. I love her cookbook the Allergen Free Baker’s Handbook. Her recipe for chocolate chip cookies and “choco chunk” cookies (a chocolate lover’s dream) are awesome. Both cookie recipes turn out soft and moist. Even my gluten eating teenagers love them and can’t believe their gluten-free.

This week I finally received my first boxes of Cybele’s Free to Eat cookies. I’ve been anxious to try these and contacted to let me know when they would be available. The arrived two days ago. These new delicious cookies are free of the top allergens…wheat, dairy, egg, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish. They are also manufactured in a dedicated gluten-free, allergy-friendly facility for those who are sensitive to cross contamination.

The cookies are available in three flavors: chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and chocolate chunk brownie. After trying them, my kids decided they like the chocolate chip cookie the most. Everyone in the house agreed they are awesome. The boxes are almost empty and it’s only been 48 hours.

My favorite cookies – chocolate chunk brownie

My favorite cookie was the chocolate chunk brownie. I am chocolate lover though so I may be biased. I am excited to see that they only have 110 calories per serving (two cookies) and eight grams of sugar which isn’t too bad.  These new cookies will be a staple in our house. Currently, I could only find them on I am hoping to get some samples for our February support group meeting.

Meanwhile, I am in the process of reviewing Cybele’s new cookbook, Allergy-Free and Easy Cooking – 30-minute meals without gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish and sesame. Look for the upcoming blog post on the cookbook review. One lucky subscriber will win a free copy.

Cybele Pascal’s Free to Eat packaged cookies get a “thumbs up” rating from our household.

  1. Hi Kim! I was wondering if these cookies are soft or crunchy. Thanks!

  2. Hi there would you mind sharing which blog
platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having
a difficult time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and
style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

  3. Wow that was strange. I just wrote an really long comment
but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show
up. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyways, just wanted
    to say superb blog!
