OMGoodness – Jules Thin Crust Pizza – Restaurant Review

OMGoodness – Jules Thin Crust Pizza – Restaurant Review

Jules Thin Crust pizza in Danville (located in the Livery) is our favorite gluten free pizza place. I love everything about this pizzeria experience. It has a clean modern decor with a nice dining area. They use green products to clean the tables and have recycle and compost waste options. The staff is always friendly and Heather, the owner, treats you like a good friend when you arrive…. Their pizza topping options are some of the most unique I’ve ever seen. My favorite is Meat Pie #4, “Kim’s pie,” with Hormone-free roasted chicken, portobello mushroom,...

Restaurant Review – Eddie Papa's

Wow, what a lovely experience. I was initially reluctant to try Eddie Papa’s in Pleasanton after finding out that they now offer gluten free options on the menu. I had been there prior to going GFCF and was not thrilled. Well, my opinion has now changed. I was impressed immediately when I informed the waiter at Eddie Papa’s that we are gluten and dairy free and he actually knew what to do. My son is always excited about the prospect of ordering gluten free pasta in a restaurant. This place has a nice family feel to it. We went around 5:30pm so we were seated right away. The waitress was really sweet and tried to answer all my ingredient questions the best she could (can you relate to this?) but what proceeded to unfold was pure disaster. Let me add that it did not help that I was starving. We decided...

Restaurant Review – Red Robin

Restaurant Review – Red Robin

As soon as I heard Red Robin restaurants are carrying Udi’s gluten free hamburger buns, I was anxious to go and try it out. My son, Sammy, was as well since he never eats a hamburger on a bun in a restaurant. Upon entering Red Robin, I was a little disappointed not to see any signage announcing the new gluten free hamburger buns. It was also not listed on the menu. How is one supposed to know they have them? I ordered Sammy the children’s meal with the gluten free bun. It was 99 cents extra for the special bun. This is not a problem for me; I was just happy to have the option. I...
