Proud to Bee Gluten-Free!

Proud to Bee Gluten-Free!

It was a beautiful day. The sun shone above and the weather was perfect as 65 plus members of my gluten-free support group, Gluten Intolerance Group of Tri-Valley, marched for gluten-free awareness and pride. There were huge smiles and puffed up chests as we proclaimed our pride in reclaiming our health and well-being by removing gluten from our diet. There isn’t a member in my group that won’t boast about the miraculous difference this diet has made in their life or the life of their child and yet this lifestyle can be challenging at first for the newly diagnosed…thus the...

FDA announces new gluten-free labeling law

It’s been a long time coming but finally today the FDA announced mandatory labeling for companies that want to label their foods “gluten-free” (GF).
